The Pets N Vets Program of Dunes Dog Training Club, Inc. began in 2012 as a result of our Northwest Indiana Veterans with PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries needing assistance with obedience training their dogs for better companions, emotional support, therapy, and service dogs.
Qualified dogs in our Pets N Vets Program are trained at “no cost” to the Veterans.
In the past 12 years, approximately 200 Veterans have attend our Pets N Vets Program. Veterans who do not qualify for Pets N Vets can receive half price training in our regular dog obedience classes.
The all volunteer Dunes Dog Training club is an IRS 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization and AKC Dog Obedience Club who have helped people train their dogs since 1954.
Money raised from this fundraiser will benefit the Pets N Vets training program costs and future purchase of a permanent training facility.
